Line scan and matrix, E2V and DALSA , digital cameras at competitive prices.
The line scan digital camera are of our particular interest: this technique uses a single line of sensor pixels to build up a two-dimensional image. The second dimension results from the motion of the object being imaged.
Line scan digital cameras offers cost-effective implementations of very high spatial resolution image acquisition. In our practice we have used image size of 1M to 160 M Pixels – simply impossible with any other real-time digital camera image capture technique .
Illumination: Compared to matrix cameras, the line scan digital cameras require illumination reduced to single line — much easier to produce and without need for strobe. Illumination must remain reasonably uniform over the entire field of view, although in-camera flat-field correction, available on some models, can compensate poor illumination quality to certain extent. For shots of fast moving objects the illumination intensity generally needs to be high. See I-VEO high intensity fluorescent lamps specially designed for line scan digital camera applications.
Optics. Typically is required large image circle diameter because of high resolution of line scan imagers . I-VEO propose cost effective lens suitable for common applications.
